Toyota Manufacturing Facility

SolarHost Case Study

SolarHost - Toyota

As part of the SolarHost program, PowerFin installed two 130 kWdc (100 kWac) PV systems at Toyota's Tundra manufacturing facility in San Antonio.  The systems were commissioned in February 2017 and generate approximately $12,000 of annual cost savings to Toyota.  As the host, Toyota  paid nothing for the systems and all maintenance is handled by PowerFin.  The solar installations are located adjacent to Toyota's Visitors Center, allowing visitors to observe how the solar systems are designed and operate.
