SCE Commercial Solar Roofs Program

4.0 MWac with Southern California Edison

PowerFin developed and commissioned 4.0 MWac (4.6 MWdc) of solar in Palmdale and Twentynine Palms, California in 2012.  The projects are interconnected on distribution lines owned and operated by Southern California Edison, who is also the off-taker of power under a 20-year power purchase agreement.  The projects were a part of SCE's Commercial Solar Roofs Program, which was the largest rooftop solar program undertaken by a utility to that point.  These projects, although ground-mounted with single-axis trackers, were recognized as part of California's Million Solar Roofs program.
